Hospice Care

sad dog.jpg

Pet hospice care provides medical and palliative (pain relief and comfort giving) care for pets nearing their end of life. It also provides holistic care for pet owners who struggle with making the right choices under these trying circumstances.

Pet hospice helps owners come to terms with their pet’s life-limiting illnesses. It provides the support systems that include compassionate, comforting care for the pet and counseling for pet owners so they know how to make good decisions and better manage the grieving process.

At Doorbell Vet, we are advocates of pet hospice. We have the training, experience and alliances necessary to help pets and their owners share a peaceful, dignified end-of life experience.
